Patient ‘Pain Points’
Physical rehab equipment is exceptionally bulky and heavy, highly-expensive, and generally accessible only for use at large-scale healthcare facilities. Typically, different rehab devices are required to support disparate medical conditions, thus increasing the total cost for successful therapy.
Personal use of equipment is virtually non-existent due to limited healthcare coverage, inability of patients to cover high deductibles / out-of-pocket cost, and absence of devices designed exclusively for home settings.
Patients frequently cancel therapy sessions because of distance, time and cost traveling to and from Therapist’s location. Some patients experience salary docking for hours away from work engaged in outpatient therapy.
Access and understanding of therapy records and reports are difficult, time consuming, and commonly unavailable in real time via mobile devices with Wi-Fi.
LL Corpus Value Proposition
Design integrated and multi-use smart Internet of Things (IoT) supported equipment to address wider range of physical and occupational medical conditions and therapies in a single device.
Target equipment for use in home setting and rural healthcare facilities with limited access to value-priced and functionally-rich equipment.
Provide affordable and highly-effective rehab and wellness equipment to patients unable to access and / or obtain because of geographical hindrance and cost.
Support equipment with an innovative mobile / Wi-Fi app that provides patients a real-time and user-friendly access to their therapy performance and treatment records and reports.
Therapist ‘Pain Points’
Therapists are constantly at risk to serious injury when manually holding and physically moving patients during therapy sessions. Patients are similarly exposed to potential injury if the therapist falls or let’s go of the gait belt and / or holding devices during therapy.
Multiple therapists and / or caregivers (and family) are required to assist the therapist when engaged in walking patients or parallel bars training. Unavailability of caregiver or family support may result in removing / modifying some therapy activities from the planned rehab program, because of safety concerns.
Therapists limited to conducting therapy with equipment available in healthcare facility or patient’s home. Lack of equipment with optimal rehab design and features constrict the patient’s planned goals, outcome and recovery.
Significant time is expended by therapists, after therapy, to complete required patient records and reports resulting from outdated and / or manual processes and obsolete technology. This results in a waste of valuable billable, non-billable time, and after-hour therapist personal time to complete.
Decreased valuable face-time with patient ensuing from manually holding and moving patients and time invested in unproductive patient record and report handling and preparation.
LL Corpus Value Proposition
Provide therapists and patients safe and smart equipment that physically alleviates need for multiple individuals to handle and support patients during therapy. This will increase the therapist’s session time for one-on-one patient assistance.
Provide smart Internet of Things (IoT) equipment designed exclusively for addressing multiple medical conditions, therapy and protocols, and exercises within an integrated physical and occupational rehab Mini-Clinic scope of treatment.
Provide Home Health TeleREHAB solution mobile / Wi-Fi app to support patient therapy sessions conducted in a Web-based real-time environment from the convenience of their home setting.
Provide Mini Clinic equipment with a supporting smart real-time mobile / Wi-Fi app that allows therapists to easily collect and manage patient therapy data and generate performance and treatment reports for patients, their physicians, Medicare, and private insurance carriers. This will improve therapist productivity and influence patient face time positively.
